Does the AD5M have an enclosure? Can it be enclosed like the AD5MP?

Absolutely. We offer a dedicated enclosure kit that allows you to build your own enclosure for the AD5M. The enclosure models can be downloaded from the Flashforge Wiki and printed using your 3D printer. Once printed, you can assemble the enclosure using the parts included in the enclosure kit.

How long will it take to get my order?

We operate our own overseas warehouse in the UK. Typically, delivery takes 1-2 weeks after ordering, with faster delivery possible within days when available. Should items sell out unexpectedly, we'll clearly mark them as 'out of stock' - in such cases, please allow for extended waiting times.

Does the AD5M support third-party filaments?

Yes, the AD5M is compatible with filaments from other brands. It supports standard 1.75mm diameter FDM filaments, so you can use materials from popular brands such as Bambu, Creality, SUNLU, eSUN, and more.

What slicer works with Flashforge Adventurer 5M?

We recommend using the official Orca-Flashforge slicer, available for download at [https://flashforge.com/blogs/download-center/software]. The printer is also compatible with other slicing software such as Orca Slicer. Additionally, the previous FlashPrint 5 software remains fully functional.

The printer arrived within four days of placing the order. The boxes arrived undamaged and the weight was easy to handle. The boxes are wrapped, but it is for a May birthday, so we will have to wait to place a product review. I carefully read the reviews prior to purchasing this particular printer from this particular company as I don’t know anything about 3d printers. I know the college daughter isn’t expecting this for a gift, but fingers crossed that we will score high on the gift giving scale this year.

I Ordered Sunday night and it arrived Saturday afternoon. The printer took about an hour to set up, mostly due to needing to find space, reading the instructions and the touch screen not responding initially. After calibration twice because the screen didn't register next the fist time, I'm online and printing. Set up orcaslicer and it's been a breeze printing beautiful prints. It's Monday and I am very pleased with the quality of everything except the touch screen. I would recommend this to anyone, with a little technical skill, as you might need a bit more than plug and play understanding. But fantastic if you are willing to use it.
